Welcome to Cazenovia! We invite you to spend time in our picturesque community.

Cazenovia’s quaint village streets, flourishing locally owned businesses and a state and national prize winning school district provide a wonderful place to work, play and visit.

Visitors are struck by our rural character, friendliness and abundant natural and architectural beauty. Cazenovia boasts several fine inns and restaurants combined with the Albany Street Historic Business District of unique shops, plus a range of ongoing cultural and recreational activities.

A person can spend a very pleasant day, weekend, or a lifetime.

Visit the Cazenovia Public Library, one of the oldest in New York State. It also offers historical materials and genealogy assistance and has an Egyptian mummy in its Museum of Curiosities.

Spend an afternoon at the Lorenzo NYS Historical Site. Enjoy the beautifully restored buildings and gardens there. Take a walk among the outdoor sculptures at Stone Quarry Art Park. Visit GoCaz.com to find out about all the local trails.

Tour the campus of Cazenovia College, a four year liberal arts school located in the heart of the village. Check out their Art Gallery in the Art and Design Building, featuring the works of juried artists including faculty and students.

Cazenovia remains true to its agricultural roots. A number of agri-tourism businesses are located here, along with an active equestrian community. Cazenovia residents value their open spaces, and place a high premium on conservation activities.
